Project Overview

This project was a comprehensive survey of traditional manufacturing techniques. I built an acoustic wooden soundboard to develop proficiency with the core tools of the machine shop.

The construction process involved woodworking for the body, a milled chime, a turned chime and striker, a sheet metal striker holder, and a sand casted bell.
