Project Overview

This tripod was designed for maximum portability without sacrificing stability. It features a nested design where the legs collapse into a compact form factor. The entire assembly is 3D printed as a single unit (print-in-place) with non-removable parts.

I utilized tapered friction-fit joints for the legs, allowing them to lock firmly in the open position and collapse smoothly without the need for screws, latches, or external hardware.
